Review AI-Assisted Changes
Document.Bot is built for reviewable work. It should help you understand what changed, why it changed, and which sources support the change.
Good Uses
Use AI-assisted changes for:
- drafting a review note from source files
- preparing a decision brief
- proposing updates to a Markdown or document draft
- summarizing file differences
- creating a checklist of affected documents
- converting or restructuring content for review
Avoid asking for broad autonomous rewrites of important files without review.
Human Approval
For sensitive actions, Document.Bot may ask for approval before writing files or applying changes.
Before approving:
- check which file will change
- inspect the sources the AI used
- read the proposed content
- confirm the change is in the right workspace
- keep a copy of important originals when required by your workflow
Review Loop
Unsaved Files
If a file has unsaved changes, Document.Bot should warn before closing it or replacing your work. Choose whether to save, discard, or cancel.
Keep Important Decisions Traceable
For high-stakes work, ask Document.Bot to include:
- source files
- open questions
- assumptions
- recommended next action
- what was not checked
