Supported File Types
Document.Bot is designed for mixed document folders. Support can vary by app version and installed dependencies, but the main supported families are listed below.
Common Document Types

Audio and video files are not supported in the current Document.Bot desktop app.
Unknown Files
If Document.Bot does not recognize a file, it should avoid corrupt text rendering and show safe fallback actions when possible.
Indexing Support
Opening a file and indexing a file are different. Some files can be visible in the file tree but not indexed for semantic search. Check Workspace and Indexing settings when search results do not include a file you expected.
Sensitive Files
Supported does not mean automatically safe for every provider. Before using sensitive files, check AI provider and indexing settings.
