Send Feedback

Document.Bot is in beta. Feedback is most useful when it includes enough context to reproduce the issue.

Use The Feedback Button​

If the app shows a feedback button or feedback offer, use it from inside the app. This can include useful app context such as version and diagnostics state.

What To Include​

Include:

  • what you were trying to do
  • what happened
  • what you expected
  • app version
  • operating system
  • selected AI provider type
  • whether the workspace was a demo folder or your own folder
  • safe reproduction steps

What Not To Include​

Do not include private documents, customer files, secrets, API keys, or personal data unless you intentionally prepare a safe reproduction package.

Good Feedback Example​

I selected a small policy folder, chose local indexing, and searched for "data retention". The search panel returned no results, but I can see the phrase in Policy-Draft.docx. App version 0.x on macOS. Indexing showed complete.

Feature Requests​

For feature requests, describe the work you are trying to complete, not only the button you want. The most useful requests include:

  • the file types involved
  • the current workaround
  • why the task matters
  • what a successful result would look like
