Beta Behavior And Limits

Document.Bot is early beta software. Some features are still changing, and some workflows may be experimental.

Beta Updates​

The app can check for updates and show update availability. Follow update prompts when a newer build is available, especially if the current beta is near expiry.

Beta Expiry​

Some beta builds can expire. If the app says your build is expired or near expiry, install the newest build before continuing important work.

Usage Limits​

Managed AI, hosted indexing, and account features may have usage limits. Account settings should show user-facing labels and recovery actions.

Local Model Limits​

Local models depend on your hardware. They may be slower, have smaller practical context windows, or require model downloads.

Feature Availability​

Features can vary by build, platform, account status, provider setup, and selected workspace. If you do not see a feature, check:

  • app version
  • account state
  • selected AI provider
  • workspace indexing state
  • platform support
